Who is this camp for?

  • ​Violin, viola, cello, or piano students
  • Ages 11 and up
  • Minimum Level Suzuki Book 2/ RCM 2 or equivalent
  • Pianists must be at least RCM level 4 or equivalent
  • Hard-working, and ready-to-learn students
     
We carefully match ensembles to ensure all students feel successful and appropriately challenged.

  • LSM BLOOR: July 13-17, 2026
  • LSM DANFORTH: July 20-24, 2026
  • Schedule: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Pricing & Registration

  • Full-week tuition: $450
  • Early registration bonus: $400 if enrolled by Dec 31, 2025

    Includes ensemble coaching, creative activities, materials for posters & t-shirts, and final concert production.

What skill levels are accepted?
Students should be comfortable reading music and playing independently. 

 

What if the music is too difficult/ easy for my child?

Ensembles will be pre-chosen by LSM teachers prior to camp based on each student's level and age. Repertoire will be chosen and distributed to students so that they can start learning their parts with their private teachers ahead of camp.
 

What instruments are included?
Violin, viola, cello, and piano. Students should bring their own instrument; shared pianos and music stands are available on site.
 
Can parents attend the final performance?
Absolutely! Families are invited to the Friday showcase for a professional-style concert experience.

What should my child bring to camp?
- Their instrument
- Music for camp (will be pre-assigned and distributed)
- 2 snacks + lunch (must be nut-free)
- Water bottle
Outdoor gear for the weather; campers will have outdoor time, rain or shine
- Sunscreen
- Hat
