Sabina Rzazade

Piano

Originally from Baku, Azerbaijan, Sabina Rzazade began playing the piano at the age of eight. She is a prizewinner of several international competitions, including the Future Stars Competition in Baku, the Frédéric Chopin Competition in Narva (Estonia), and the Konstantin Igumnov International Competition in Lipetsk (Russia). She has appeared as a soloist with the Azerbaijan State Chamber Orchestra and the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra.

After moving to Canada to study with Alexander Tselyakov, Sabina continued to perform and earn recognition at competitions and festivals across Manitoba. She served as a collaborative pianist with the Suzuki Talent Education Program at Brandon University, where she also maintained a private teaching studio and developed her approach to music education. She later performed with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Naomi Woo as part of the WSO in Brandon Concert Series.

Sabina has completed her Master’s degree in Collaborative Piano at the University of Toronto, where she currently works as a vocal coach, collaborating with singers and assisting in the preparation of juries and recitals. She also serves as a pianist with the Toronto Children’s Choir (TCC) and as a Music Director at a large church in Toronto. An active pianist, she performs regularly in concerts across Canada.
