Myriam Blardone

Piano/Violin/Voice

The multi-instrumentalist and composer Myriam Blardone is an international awardwinning pianist and harpist, and a violinist and singer in popular music, hip/hop, R&B songs. Her latest musical accomplishments include singing on the song “Churchill Downs” by Jake Harlow (featuring the world famous rapper Drake), being a Prize winner at the USA International Harp Competition, receiving the 2nd Prize in the Glenn Gould School Chamber Competition as a pianist, the Winning Prize of the University of Toronto Concerto Competition, the Grand Prize of the Oakville Chamber Orchestra Concerto Competition and the First Prize at the Canadian Music Competition in the piano category as well as the harp category.

Aside from her performance career, Myriam spends a lot of time passing down her passion for music with students and with her own daughter. She has been teaching consistently for the past 9 years to individual students as well as coaching group projects in the Oakville Suzuki Music Summer Camps. Being born in a musical family, Myriam is a believer that music education is an important part of children’s development and should be accessible to them from the start of their life. In 2023, she started offering “baby and toddler music discovery classes” in her own home for parents and babies to come and be immersed in the joy that music brings to life.

Myriam completed an Artist Diploma at the Glenn Gould School in 2020 with Marietta Orlov and Judy Loman for the piano and harp, respectively. She graduated in 2018 from the University of Toronto with a Double Major in Performance Harp and Piano under the same teachers. Born and raised in France, Myriam completed the French equivalent of an ARCT at the age of 16 in piano, harp, violin and voice. Aside from her musical career, she is building her own business in hypnotherapy and mindset coaching for artists and creatives, and she is a passionate painter and dancer.
