Bridget Alexander
Violin
Bridget Alexander grew up in Saskatchewan, where she studied violin with Rudolf Sternadel and Christian Robinson. She has participated in and won numerous classes at the provincial level, and was proud to represent Saskatchewan in the inaugural Canada West Performing Arts Festival. Bridget has extensive orchestral experience, having served in principle positions of the South Saskatchewan Youth Orchestra and University of Toronto Symphony Orchestra, as well as playing three seasons with the Regina Symphony Orchestra beginning at the age of fifteen. Bridget has played in masterclasses for Timothy Chooi, Jonathan Crow, and Mihaela Martin, and has participated in summer programs including the Rosamunde Summer Music Academy, Tuckamore Chamber Music Festival, and Domaine Forget.
Bridget has been teaching violin students of all ages for the past 8 years, and has recently completed the Royal Conservatory of Music’s Teaching Beginner Violin course.
