Thomas Hainbuch

Piano/Guitar/Ukulele/Bass

Thomas Hainbuch Is an acoustic/electric bassist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer based in Toronto, where he is emerging as an active part of the city's jazz and commercial music scenes. Since graduating from Humber College’s Bachelors of music program in 2020, Thomas has performed on stages across North America with a variety of artists and bands, Including Caity Gyorgy, Elissa Mielke, Jeremie Albino, and countless others. In addition to performance, Thomas has built a diverse discography as a bassist/producer, most notably for his bass playing on Caity Gyorgy’s two recent Juno award winning vocal jazz albums titled “Now Pronouncing: Caity Gyorgy” (2022 winner), and “Featuring” (2023 winner).

Aside from performance and recording, Thomas has also cultivated significant teaching experience in piano, guitar, ukulele, and bass. He brings a personally tailored teaching style to accommodate the unique goals/needs of the particular student while always finding a way to make lessons fun and engaging. No matter age or experience, lessons with Thomas are sure to be a valuable experience.
