Michelle Marcos

The sound of singing and instruments playing fill some of Michelle’s earliest memories. Coming from a family that encouraged the making and performing of music regularly, it is no surprise that Michelle developed a deep love for music. Michelle began studying music at the age of four in Edmonton, Alberta. She continued her love of music throughout her school years and into university. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta and has taught piano since 2016 at various schools in Edmonton before relocating to the Greater Toronto Area. As a teacher, Michelle is very patient and caring with her students. She believes that music creates community and that anyone, no matter their ability, is able to make and enjoy music. Michelle encourages all of her students to be lifelong musicians even if it’s just for their own enjoyment and relaxation.
