Sarah Murley-Hauser

Sarah has been playing violin since the age of 6 and is now a violin teacher and music school administrator. She studied violin at the University of Toronto with Katherine Rapoport and Annalee Patipatanakoon, and afterwards, violin pedagogy with Vanessa Mio.
Sarah is a recognized Suzuki Violin teacher with the Suzuki Association of the Americas and is an endorsed Level 1 Paul Rolland String Pedagogy teacher. She has also received pedagogical training from Mimi Zweig and Brenda Brenner and she incorporates the Alexander Technique into her teaching for a healthy, body-friendly way of playing and enjoying violin. Sarah is passionate and remains committed to inspiring a love for violin and music in her students as well as excellence in playing and teaching violin.
When she is not teaching violin, Sarah enjoys going on long walks with her husband and dog, taking care of her indoor jungle and digging in her veggie garden.
