Early Childhood Music

Tatiana’s passion for music and teaching was nurtured at an early age by watching her father, himself a talented early childhood music educator. Her childhood dolls and teddy bears became her first attentive and inspired students! Since earning an Early Childhood Music Education Diploma from the Musical Pedagogical College in Gomel, Belarus, Tatiana has gained considerable experience teaching music and movement to children as young as three months in a variety of settings. Her curriculum combines the principles and concepts of Dalcroze Eurhythmics, Kodály and Orff pedagogy, with her knowledge of the physical, emotional, cultural and intellectual development of her students. Tatiana continues to deepen her understanding of the early childhood years and the benefits of music education through her own studies and by regularily attending workshops and conferences. She is currently working towards earning the Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Music Education through Ryerson University and the Royal Conservatory of Music. She is certified in Kodály Pedagogy, and is also an Orff Specialist.
