Toronto based multi-instrumentalist Andrew Frost has walked a musically eclectic path. Andrew has played on Juno award winning recordings and collaborated with internationally acclaimed artists such as Andy ‘Abdominal’ Bernstein and Mexican Roots songwriter Quique Escamilla. In the 1990s, Andrew played traditional Cuban music with Orquesta Klavé y Kongo, and has shared the stage with artists such as Buena Vista Social Club’s Eliades Ochoa. An ear for progressive sounds has led Andrew to electronic music composition in recent years. As well as contributing to numerous indy film soundtracks, Andrew is currently finishing work on an instrumental album, ‘Future Ghost Towns’ that incorporates his love of organic, synthetic and found sounds. Andrew teaches guitar, pedal steel guitar and songwriting.
