Joyce Shek Yin Lau

Joyce Shek Yin Lau is a pianist with over twenty years of experience teaching students of all ages, levels, and backgrounds. These years of teaching have helped her develop the ability to quickly assess a student’s needs to ensure that lessons are perfectly catered to each individual. In addition to teaching private lessons, Joyce is a music teacher in Toronto-area schools. This has equipped her with many skills that transfer easily between the classroom and the studio. As well as helping her students develop a firm understanding of music theory and literacy, Joyce prioritizes their enjoyment of playing the instrument above all else.
