Rhiannon Carter

Violin

Rhiannon has been playing violin for nearly 18 years, studying under various artists such as Annalee Patipatanakoon, David Gilliam, Brandon Chui and Young-dai Park. Beginning her orchestral journey in 2006, Rhiannon has been playing in various orchestras, which include the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra, the University of British Columbia Symphony, and the Laurier Symphony also winning the 2013 Musician of the Year Award, with the Mississauga Youth Orchestra. Rhiannon is very active around her community, playing at various outreach concerts with her quartet (Largo Fasolka Quartet), and her commitment to the improvisation group at Laurier University. To add, Rhiannon has attended Le Domaine Forget International Music Academy, Saint-Irénée, QC (2014-2016), and the Tuckamore Chamber Music Festival in St. Johns Newfoundland, (2018). Rhiannon enjoys playing music with her friends, teaching the violin, and orange zest in her casual baking exploits.
