Nina Vu

Piano

Originally from Vancouver, Nina Vu is an active soloist, collaborative artist, and teacher. At age 18, Nina earned her Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Toronto in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music. In the same year, Nina began her undergraduate career at the University of British Columbia School of Music, studying alongside Miranda Wong and Amanda Chan. The UBC alumna was granted the Stanley Chuck Cheun Leung Memorial Scholarship and the Kimmy Y C Tong Memorial Scholarship, and was a two-time recipient of the Mildred Johnson Scholarship in Music. Nina is currently pursuing her Masters of Music in Piano Performance at the University of Toronto with Enrico Elisi and Steven Philcox. She has also been awarded the University of Toronto Fellowship and is the 2021-2022 recipient of the Dina and Hosie Austin Graduate Piano Fellowship. As a dedicated pianist and mentor, Nina strives to create an all-encompassing learning experience for each and every one of her students. Nina is eager to discover and contribute to the diverse music scene on the east coast since having relocated to Toronto.
