Pegah Yazdani

Having shown enthusiasm and talent for music at an early age, Pegah pursued her musical education in Moscow graduating from the prestigious Gnessin State Musical College as a concert pianist, orchestra musician and piano teacher. Upon her return to Iran, Pegah taught at the Tehran Conservatory of Music and worked as an accompanist for The State National School of Music. In addition, she had the position of Director of the Course, Music/Piano Instructor and Examiner in BIHE University and performed in many solo and chamber music concerts. In 2007, Pegah began her master’s degree in Piano Performance in London/UK studying with Professor Michael Schreider and successfully graduated in 2008. Pegah participated in different music courses and master classes specifically in North London Piano School where she had the chance to meet and take master classes with world renowned professors from Russia and the UK. Ms. Yazdani has over 20 years of teaching experience in various conservatories and music schools. Apart from running her own piano studio, she is also a freelance accompanist, performer and a faculty at the Lane School of Music. Pegah is an executive member of the Ontario Registered Teachers Music Association and a certified piano teacher with the Royal Conservatory of Music.
