Rhian Merritt

Rhian Merritt is a performer, teacher, and arts administrator who has found herself enjoying the creative arts scene in Toronto. She began taking voice lessons in grade 12 after many years participating in choirs throughout Nova Scotia. She graduated from a Bachelor of Music degree (2020) from Acadia University, followed by a Master of Music in Vocal Performance at the University of Toronto (2022). Rhian is passionate about the power of uniting people through music and focuses her work around the three values of creativity, collaboration, and community. When Rhian isn’t singing, you might find her grabbing a chai tea latte, exploring new areas of the city, and dreaming of Nova Scotia beach days!
